Job summary

Freeport-McMoRan invites qualified candidates for an analytical role at Climax Molybdenum operations in Colorado. You will perform routine and non-routine chemical and metallurgical analyses, prepare samples, and maintain lab equipment in a safety-focused environment.

We value knowledge in math and chemistry, strong communication, and hazard awareness. An associates degree is preferred, and on-site housing assistance may be available for eligible employees.

Qualifications

• Demonstrated knowledge of math, chemistry and/or computer skills appropriate to the assignment.
• Ability to communicate effectively, both orally and in writing.
• Ability to develop and maintain awareness of occupational hazards and safety precautions.

• May collect samples which could include collection from rail cars or trucks in some locations
• Prepare samples for analysis using established tests and techniques.
• Assists with/performs routine chemical and/or metallurgical analysis and reporting.

• Perform other duties as required

What We Offer You

The estimated pay range for this role is currently$21.00 - $29.00/hour. This range reflects base salary only and does not include bonus payments, benefits or retirement contributions. Actual base pay is determined by experience, qualifications, skills and other job-related factors. This role is eligible for additional discretionary and incentive payment considerations based on company and individual performance. More details will be shared during the hiring process.
