Job summary

Kelly Science in Farmingdale, NY is seeking a Laboratory Assistant to join a growing team in a state-of-the-art facility. The role offers a full-time, temp-to-hire path with a pay rate of $28 per hour and a Monday–Friday schedule (3:00pm–11:30pm).

You will process samples, prepare reagents, document results, and help maintain a clean, compliant laboratory environment in accordance with SOPs, GMPs, and safety rules.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma required.
• Previous experience working within a laboratory environment. Prior pharmaceutical or dietary supplement industry is a plus.
• Ability to work in fast paced environments.

Responsibilities

• Process samples for routine physical and chemical testing according to approved laboratory procedures.
• Conduct tests such as disintegration, rupture, FTIR, protein identification, bulk density, weight variation, and organoleptic evaluations.
• Prepare reagents, solutions, samples, and materials required for testing.
• Accurately document and report results while maintaining complete, organized records.
• Follow all applicable SOPs, quality procedures, GMPs, and health and safety requirements.
• Maintain a clean, organized laboratory, including work areas, equipment, glassware, and supplies.
• Support laboratory housekeeping and daily operations.
