Job Description

Perform duties related to the preparation, distribution, cataloging, and storage of lab specimens for testing. Ensure compliance with departmental specimen identification policies and quality controls. Utilize lab and hospital information systems and provide administrative support such as filing, record maintenance, responding to client calls, and mail delivery.

Qualifications

• Associate's degree in Biological Science or health-related field, or equivalent relevant education and/or experience.
• Depending on the unit, certification in Basic Life Support (BLS) from the American Heart Association (AHA) may be required or obtained within 30 days of employment.
