Job summary

JSW Steel Limited in the United States is seeking a Laboratory Technician for our Mingo Junction facility. Responsibilities include material preparation for OE and Leco instruments, running standards, troubleshooting, and maintaining a detailed lab workbook.

This in-person role operates on a 4 on/4 off 12-hour rotating shift. Candidates should be proficient with basic math and Microsoft Office, and be able to work independently or as part of a team. Competitive benefits are provided.

Qualifications

• Strong math skills and numerical accuracy.
• Competent with basic computer skills and Microsoft Office.
• Ability to work independently and in a team.

Responsibilities

• Prepare materials for OE and Leco instruments.
• Run standards on EO and Leco instruments.
• Troubleshoot EO and Leco instruments and perform calibration checks.
• Maintain detailed lab workbook of duties performed.
• Complete shift preventative maintenance on equipment.
