Job summary

JSW Steel Limited in the United States is seeking a Laboratory Technician for our Mingo Junction facility. Responsibilities include material preparation for OE and Leco instruments, running standards, troubleshooting, and maintaining a detailed lab workbook.

This in-person role operates on a 4 on/4 off 12-hour rotating shift. Candidates should be proficient with basic math and Microsoft Office, and be able to work independently or as part of a team. Competitive benefits are provided.

• Complete shift preventative maintenance on equipment.

Responsibilities and duties include, but are not limited to:

• Run standards on both EO and Leco instruments as needed.
• Troubleshoot EO and Leco instruments as required and run calibration checks.
• Maintain detailed chemical lab workbook of duties performed.
• Complete shift preventative maintenance on equipment.

This position is in person and observes 12-hour rotating shifts on a 4 on/4 off rotation.

May work independently and with a team.

Competent with basic math and numbers required as well as strong computer skills and proficient in Microsoft Office.
