Job summary

MaineHealth is seeking a Laboratory Technician in Scarborough, ME for a per diem daytime role. The technician will independently perform and monitor laboratory tests on patient specimens, ensuring compliance with procedures and regulatory standards. They will address instrument issues and handle quality control and maintenance tasks.

The role may involve training laboratory or healthcare staff as directed, with travel between MaineHealth sites required to support multiple facilities.

Qualifications

• Associate's Degree preferred in a relevant field.
• Medical Laboratory Assistant Certification preferred.
• Six months of healthcare experience preferred.
• Must be able to travel among company sites.

Summary

The pay range for this position is $20.68to $25.10 per hour.

Compensation for part-time positions isdeterminedon a prorated basis consistent with the scheduled hours and applicable full-time equivalent (FTE).
