Job summary

SILON in Peachtree City, GA, is seeking a Quality Technician for the 2nd shift to uphold lab quality standards and compliance. You will perform tests, maintain records, and collaborate with production teams to resolve quality issues.

Responsibilities include following SOPs, ensuring safe lab practices, and educating staff on QC testing and sanitation. A strong emphasis on ISO 9001:2015 and QMS processes is required.

Qualifications

• 2-4 years of experience in a laboratory or production facility quality control.
• Experience in an ISO environment.
• Knowledge of ISO 9001:2015.
• Quality system auditing experience.
• Proficiency with hand gages, fixtures, analytical equipment, and raw material testing.

• Maintain a safe, clean work environment in the quality lab and ensure overall cleanliness and appearance.
• Follow all safety rules and SOPs/WIs in the lab.
• Maintain and follow all laboratory SOPs and Work Instructions.
• Communicate quality issues to Shift Team Leader / Production Personnel promptly.
• Educate and instruct plant personnel in QC testing and sanitation practices.
• Maintain Quality Records.

• Maintain Quality Records.
• High School Diploma or GED, plus experience required; Associates degree or higher in Science or Engineering a plus.
• 2- 4 years of experience in laboratory or production facility quality control.
• Experience in an ISO environment.
• QMS (Quality Management System) experience.
• Knowledge ISO 9001:2015.
• Quality system auditing experience.
