Job summary

Snelling seeks a Laboratory Technician for a well-established oilfield services client in Midland, TX. The role focuses on QA tests, preparing lab reports prior to service delivery at wellsites, and providing advanced technical support during additive selection and fluid design.

You will maintain lab equipment, dispose of waste, prepare technical presentations, and conduct audits to ensure standards. Trainees may be considered with a High School Diploma; prior lab experience is preferred but

Qualifications

• Previous experience as a lab tech but open to a trainee that is new to the oilfield.
• High School Diploma (or equivalent) required.

Responsibilities

• Perform quality assurance tests on company products.
• Prepare lab reports prior to service delivery at wellsite.
• Provide advanced technical support during additive selection and fluid design.
• Maintain contact with the Client Support Labs and/or operating locations, product centers and InTouch repository.
• Ensure lab equipment is clean and in working condition and that waste is regularly disposed of.
• Prepare technical presentations for internal and external customers.
• Perform regular audits to ensure the laboratory operates according to required standards.
