This individual will be responsible for following all safety and quality guidelines while maintaining a satisfactory production level. The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required.**About you:*** Performing laboratory tests as outlined by the SOPs.* Performing all scheduled calibrations, standardization and SPC tests.* Routine maintenance of testing instrumentation.* Properly completing all paperwork used to track tests and their validity.* Loading data for tests performed.* Maintaining a clean, safe work area.* Accurately recording personal production and meeting production requirements.* Routing samples for additional testing as outlined by SOPs.* Storing and disposing of samples properly.* Complying with local and corporate quality assurance policies, as well as ISO 17025 lab accreditation requirements.* Other duties and responsibilities may be assigned from time to time, as required **Required Qualifications:*** High School diploma or laboratory experience preferred.* Working knowledge of good laboratory practice.* Comfortable in high paced production environment.**Physical Demands:*** The ability to stand for intervals of up to 8 hours while working.* Able to speak and hear clearly while communicating with co-workers and managers.* Dexterity in hands and fingers to operate equipment and handle glassware.* Must have average vision and able to see to read reports and operate equipment.* Hearing and speech to communicate in person and over the telephone.**Working at ALS:** Our people are our most valuable asset and drive our success at ALS.We are a diverse community of dedicated professionals united by our passion to make a difference in the world.
