Job summary

Planet Pharma is seeking a skilled technician to generate and evaluate lab-scale samples and perform testing for customer technical programs, process and product research programs, and manufacturing support.

You will troubleshoot equipment, support machine scale-up, maintain logs and records, and perform stoichiometric calculations as needed while following EHS and SOP guidelines to ensure safe operations and timely results for shipped products.

Responsibilities

• Generate and/or evaluate lab-scale samples.
• Perform testing for customer technical programs, process and product research programs, and manufacturing support.
• Provide relevant information for further decisions.
• Troubleshoot and maintain equipment needed for production and routine processing and property evaluation.
• Support machine scale-up work.
• Maintain appropriate logs, notebooks, and other records, including computer documents.
• Provide internet and other information searches as needed for problem solving.
• Perform stoichiometric calculations for production using computer programs or hand calculations.
• Understand and follow EHS, SOPs, and Responsible Care rules, regulations, and guidelines.
• Maintain a safe work environment.
• Work effectively with more than one technical supervisor.
• Interface with other functions such as manufacturing and research personnel.
• Interface directly with customers if needed.
• Provide timely results to assure the quality of products shipped to customers.
