Job summary

Dexian is seeking an Entry Lab Technician to generate and evaluate lab-scale samples for customer programs and production support. The role involves troubleshooting equipment, maintaining logs and records, and performing stoichiometric calculations to aid manufacturing decisions.

You will work under supervision to ensure adherence to EHS and SOP guidelines, manage multiple tasks, and interface with manufacturing and research personnel to deliver timely results.

• Maintain logs, notebooks, and records including computer documents.
• Perform stoichiometric calculations for production using computer programs or hand calculations.
• Interfacing with customers if needed and providing timely results to assure product quality.

Department: 12+Months (Contract)

Pay Rate – $21-22/hr On W2

Position Overview:

• Generate and/or evaluate lab-scale samples, testing for customer technical programs, process and product research programs and manufacturing support and provide relevant information for further decisions.
• Troubleshoot and maintain equipment needed for production and routine processing & property evaluation and supporting machine scale-up work.
• Maintain appropriate logs, notebooks and other records including computer documents.
• Provide internet and other information searches as needed for problem solving. Perform stoichiometric calculations for production using computer programs or hand-calculations.
• Understand and follow EHS, SOPs and Responsible Care rules, regulations and guidelines maintaining a safe work environment.
• Capable of managing multiple tasks, working effectively with more than one technical supervisor, interfacing with other functions such as manufacturing and research personnel, interfacing directly with customers if needed, and providing timely results to assure the quality of products shipped to customers. 1-3 Years of Experience
