Job summary

Infosoft, Inc. is seeking an entry-level Laboratory Technician for the Healthcare Diagnostics division in Indiana. The role involves supporting reagent production for in-vitro diagnostic assays and assisting with routine lab and manufacturing tasks.

Ideal candidates have basic laboratory exposure, strong work ethic, and professional demeanor. Local candidates are preferred and some flexibility in shift times may be available.

Qualifications

• B.S./B.A./A.S. in relevant field or relevant work experience preferred.
• GMP/ISO familiarity or experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Support production operations with routine stocking and cleaning of manufacturing areas.
• Assist with low complexity manufacturing operations and equipment support (column maintenance, equipment maintenance, and/or cleaning).
• Perform glassware washing and general lab support duties.
• Monitor material inventory and assist with ordering buffers as needed.
• Collaborate with laboratory biochemists to ensure buffers meet weekly production schedules.
• Support Buffer manufacturing lab as needed.
• Participate in 5S audits of laboratories for cleanliness and organization.

Shift: 8 AM to 5 PM (some flexibility) - Monday to Friday

This position is for the Healthcare Diagnostics division.

We are looking for a Laboratory Technician

• This is an entry-level position in a Manufacturing group that is responsible for producing reagents for in-vitro diagnostic assays.
• Candidates with limited laboratory experience will be considered.
• Applicants with industrial experience and knowledge of GMP/ISO will be preferred.
• Local candidates are preferred.
• The successful candidate will demonstrate a strong work ethic and professional demeanor. Supports production operations with routine stocking, cleaning of manufacturing areas, other lab support duties.
• Low complexity manufacturing operations and equipment support (column maintenance, equipment maintenance, and/or cleaning).
• Glassware washing.
• Material inventory monitoring support.
• Collaborating with laboratory biochemists to order required buffers to meet the weekly schedule.
• Support the Buffer manufacturing lab as needed.
• 5S audits of laboratories for adherence to cleanliness, maintenance, and organization expectations.
