Advanced Chemical Company (ACC) is seeking a Laboratory Technician to join our growing team in Cranston, RI. This full-time role supports inorganic wet chemistry, instrumentation, and fire assaying, with hands-on testing, documentation, and quality control.

You’ll start on a 5-day training schedule, then move to a rotating 4-day, 10-hour shift (7:00 a.m. – 5:00 p.m.). The position emphasizes safety, precision, and career growth within our precious metals refining operation.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent with relevant lab experience.
• Bachelor’s or Associate degree in a science field preferred.
• Experience in laboratory testing or wet chemistry.
• Ability to distinguish shades of colors.
• Detail-oriented with a quality-driven mindset.
• Experience in ISO 9000/14000 environment a plus.
• Willingness to learn and grow within the company.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Strong computer literacy (Excel, Google Suite, Windows).

Responsibilities

• Support laboratory operations in Inorganic Wet Chemistry, Instrumentation, and Fire Assaying.
• Perform sample preparation, testing, analysis, and documentation of results.
• Conduct quality control testing and maintain analytical instrumentation.
• Assist with calibration and maintenance of test equipment.
• Cross-train in other laboratory areas to broaden skills.
• Contribute to a safe, efficient, and detail-oriented lab environment.

This is a full-time position (40 hours per week). You’ll start on a5-day schedulefor training, then move to a4-day work week(four 10-hour days,7:00 a.m. – 5:00 p.m.) — a rotating schedule that truly supportswork-life balance.
