Qualifications

• Laboratory technical (analytical assistant) background.
• College-level science coursework or training is a plus.
• 1 year experience as a laboratory analytical assistant is preferred.
• 3 years experience in blood specimen collections in a hospital setting is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Process and prepare specimens for Clinical and Reference Laboratory testing.
• Operate automated laboratory instrumentation as needed.
• Assist with Blood Processing, including receiving blood components and preparing plasma products.
• Place orders with blood suppliers and support CLS on blood bank functions.
