This full-time role leads technical operations, plans new assays, and guides staff while ensuring high-quality patient care in a fast-paced lab environment.

The position requires 6+ years in specialized testing, NYS licensure, and a relevant Bachelor's degree, with ASCP

Qualifications

• Minimum of 6 years in specialized testing.
• New York State Clinical Laboratory Technologist License from NY Education Department.
• Bachelor’s Degree in Medical Technology or related field of science.
• Excellent technical skills, including method development and training skills.
• Cognitive ability to develop and troubleshoot sophisticated analytical procedures.

Responsibilities

• Plan and develop new techniques, assays and methods while providing technical guidance.
• Organize and coordinate all technical functions and activities of the Lab in a leadership role.
• Oversee day shift with oversight extending to other shifts and weekends as inherent in a leadership position.
