Job summary

Camin Cargo Control is seeking a Laboratory Technician II for our Lake Charles lab to perform intermediate to advanced analyses on crude oil, refined products, and petrochemicals, ensuring compliance with customer specs and industry standards. You will support method development and maintain accurate documentation in our LIMS.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Associate’s degree in Chemistry, Chemical Engineering, or a related scientific discipline.
• At least 3 years of laboratory experience in oil & gas.
• Knowledge of ASTM, API, and ISO standards.
• Strong attention to detail and accurate documentation.

Responsibilities

• Conduct intermediate to advanced laboratory tests on crude oil and related products.
• Review data, prepare detailed reports, and communicate results to teams.
• Analyze test results to ensure compliance with standards.
• Calibrate, maintain, and troubleshoot laboratory instruments.
• Ensure safety procedures and assist in audits and inspections.
