Job summary

SGMC Health is seeking a Laboratory Systems Interface Analyst for the Main Campus in the Lab Administration department. The role focuses on designing, implementing, maintaining, and troubleshooting laboratory interfaces to ensure seamless data exchange between instruments, middleware, and the Epic EHR.

This position requires strong technical expertise in laboratory workflows, interface engines, and experience with LIS/EHR systems, HL7, and vendor integrations.

Qualifications

• Certified Laboratory Technician (MLT/MLS) or equivalent required.
• Experience with laboratory workflows, instrument interfaces, and LIS/EHR systems preferred.
• Strong knowledge of HL7 interfaces, data mapping, and error resolution required.

Responsibilities

• Design, implement, maintain, and troubleshoot laboratory system interfaces.
• Coordinate between Laboratory Operations, IT, and third-party vendors to ensure data exchange.
• Translate operational needs into system functionality and optimize workflow performance.
