Qualifications

• 6 months phlebotomy or clinical laboratory experience or successful completion of a clinical training program.
• The LST II must satisfactorily complete facility competencies, including checklists and examinations, to be eligible for advancement.

Responsibilities

• Assist with reports, data and scheduling functions of the laboratory.
• Acquire all required specimen types for laboratory testing using safe, accurate, and professional methodologies while observing HIPAA requirements.
• Provide excellent customer service in line with Mercy Signature Service Standards and laboratory policies.
