Job summary

Mercy is seeking a Laboratory Support Technician IV (LST IV) to support reports, data and scheduling in the laboratory. You will ensure accurate, timely laboratory support and provide excellent customer service in line with Mercy Signature Service Standards.

• Education: High School Diploma or Equivalent.
• Experience: Two years phlebotomy or clinical laboratory experience or equivalent.
• Phlebotomy preceptorship experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Acquire specimens for laboratory testing using approved methodologies.
• Process, transport, and refer laboratory specimens and reports.
• Assist technologists and physicians in all appropriate test methods as needed.
• Perform limited routine testing and support POC and Waived Laboratory Testing.
