The Pulmonary Medicine Sleep Lab Technical Supervisor works in collaboration with the Director of the sleep lab and Administrator to plan, direct, and evaluate technical staff, patient care, and technical support services. The supervisor is responsible for the daily management of technical services, supervision of all technical staff members, oversight and delegation of QA for all technical and research support functions, clinical policy development and review, and ensuring compliance with AASM standards and CMS technical regulations. Additionally, the supervisor maintains a healthy work environment and collaborates with the Program Director, Medical Director, and Clinical Administrator on division goals and objectives. The role includes training and performing duties of Registered Polysomnographer /Sleep Technologist and clerical staff as needed. Overnight shift coverage may be required in emergencies.
