Job summary

Pace Labs is seeking a Laboratory Supervisor in Smyrna, GA. The role provides leadership across laboratory, services, and field operations, ensuring accurate testing, data, and documentation while supporting staff and customer needs.

The ideal candidate will have a bachelor’s degree in chemistry or biology, 5 years of lab experience, and at least 2 years of leadership. This is a full-time, on-site position with a comprehensive benefits package at Pace Labs.

Qualifications

• Five (5) years of laboratory, services, field, or testing experience, including work with complex programs or operations.
• Two (2) years of team leadership experience is strongly preferred.
• Equivalent combination of education, training and experience accepted.

Responsibilities

• Supervise staff, including hiring, training, evaluations, and compensation recommendations.
• Oversee lab and field operations, testing, scheduling, inventory, and services.
• Ensure accuracy of testing, data, reports, and documentation through audits and reviews.
• Provide guidance on lab and operational policies and compliance with laws and regulations.
• Analyze trends and present insights and recommendations to management.
