This community's appeal continues to grow as exciting new developments are underway near the AdventHealth Minneola campus.
· AdventHealth Minneola's 80-bed hospital will bring inpatient care to the growing population of South Lake County. Spanning approximately 204,000 square feet, the hospital will include an emergency department; full-service imaging; five operating suites; endoscopy services; outpatient laboratory; heart catheterization labs; critical care and general medical/surgical rooms. We are proud to be delivering clinical solutions for the mind, body and spirit in the Minneola community.
The role you’ll contribute:
The Laboratory Supervisor is responsible for managing selected aspects of laboratory processes or shifts, which may include workflow, quality control, procedure review, performance improvement, training, advanced problem solving, equipment or computer maintenance, or other tasks. Assists department leadership in meeting goals. Work involves analytical testing of blood and/or human biological specimens, requiring theoretical and practical knowledge in licensed areas. Depending on the campus, pre- and post-analytical processes and on-call hours may be required. Follows laboratory policies, maintains quality control, and participates in outstanding customer service, respecting all relationships.
