Job summary

Oncology Consultants is seeking an experienced supervisor to lead a team of phlebotomists and medical assistants in daily specimen processing across clinic laboratories. The role ensures QA/QC, instrument troubleshooting, and adherence to CAP standards while coordinating supplies and staff scheduling.

Reporting to the laboratory manager, you will oversee bone marrow biopsy support, blood draws, and timely reporting of results, with a focus on compliance, training, and continuous process

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Clinical Lab, Chemistry, Biology or related field.
• Minimum five years of clinical laboratory experience.
• Two years of laboratory supervisory experience.

Responsibilities

• Oversees scheduling of staff to process patient specimens and testing.
• Ensures QA/QC of reagents, instrumentation, and proficiency testing.
• Maintains knowledge of CAP standards and regulatory requirements.
• Mentors staff and coordinates with clinic and AON Lab Analyst for supplies.
