Job summary

American Oncology Network, Inc. is seeking a Lab Supervisor to oversee phlebotomy and laboratory specimen processing across clinic sites. You will lead a team, supervise testing, QC, and staff training, ensuring accuracy and regulatory compliance.

Responsibilities include instrument maintenance, data entry in EMR, and collaboration with clinicians and AON Lab staff. Some travel to clinics may be required; a bachelor’s degree and supervisory experience are required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Clinical Lab, Chemistry, Biology or related field.
• Minimum five years of clinical laboratory experience.
• Two years of laboratory supervisory experience.

Responsibilities

• Oversee scheduling of staff to process patient specimens and testing.
• Operate all instruments and ensure proficiency on clinic software.
• Perform instrument maintenance and QC; review quality systems daily.
• Ensure compliance with CAP standards and regulatory requirements.
• Participate in policy creation and staff training; maintain confidentiality.
• Lead lab supervision and support bone marrow/ blood specimen procedures.
