The candidate will work in both a small STAT lab and a client facility, overseeing laboratory technologists and ensuring compliance with CLIA/CAP standards. A B.S./B.A. in Medical Technology or Clinical Lab Sciences along with relevant supervisory experience is crucial. Additionally, a General Supervisor license from Nevada is required, and occasional travel to Phoenix, AZ is expected.

Qualifications

• 1-3 years of experience as a Laboratory Supervisor.
• 1-2 years as a Medical Technologist.
• State of Nevada General Supervisor license required.

Responsibilities

Job description

We are a leading-edge medical laboratory testing company currently seeking a Laboratory Supervisor to join our team in Las Vegas, NV.

Job Description

• Works 20 hours per week in small one to two person STAT lab, and 20 hours per week in a client facility
• Oversees 3-4 per diem technologists in the client facility
• Oversees 1 technologist in stat lab
• Perform tests,
• Complete instrument maintenance,
• Ensure CLIA/CAP compliance, and various other job duties
• Utilize some of the instruments used: Dimension, Immulite, Integra 400, Act-5, CA560, Elecsys 210
• Travel up to 50% between Las Vegas, NV and Phoenix, AZ

Qualifications

• Normally requires a B.S./B.A in either Medical Technology or Clinical Lab Sciences w/1-3 years of experience as a Laboratory Supervisor and 1-2 years as a Medical Technologist
• ASCP certification preferred
• Requires a State of Nevada General Supervisor license
