Position type: Fulltime/Contract

Onsite Role

Asa Laboratory Supervisor, you will:

As a QC Laboratory Supervisor working onsite in Delaware, OH, you will be responsible for a variety of laboratory operations in quality control and research settings. In the QC team, you will support a team of technicians in the pursuit of sample validation, risk mitigation, and continuous improvement. This team member will be a model performer, a facilitator for the technicians, and a driver of strategic initiatives at the laboratory level.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Execute day-to-day allocation of resourcing amongst the QC team
2. Identify the requirements for support of cross functional groups
3. Facilitate and support RCA activities
4. Identify and scope improvement opportunities in the process
5. Collaborate with fellow lab leads to scope opportunities amongst different work areas
6. Lead daily meetings with technicians
7. Acknowledge and facilitate fulfillment of the needs of the technicians, the QC team, and the physical resourcing of the lab.
8. Support the achievement of strategic goals
9. Understand, support, and maintain Delaware’s Quality Management System requirements
10. Maintain and complete a personal and team development plan
11. Support and provide input on Departmental X matrix action items as assigned

Qualifications:

1. Bachelor’s degree required
2. Degree in Chemistry, Biochemistry, Chemical Engineering preferred
3. At least 2 years of academic or professional experience in a laboratory setting
4. Experience in people leadership preferred
5. Ability to work additional overtime as determined by team, business, and project needs

PAY RANGE AND BENEFITS:
Pay Range*: $25.00- $30.00 per hour.
*Pay range offered to a successful candidate will be based on several factors, including the candidate's education, work experience, work location, specific job duties, certifications, etc.
