Job summary

Labcorp seeks a Specimen Accessioner/Processor to join our Specimen Processing and Accessioning team in Troy, MI. The role focuses on preparing specimens for testing, accurate labeling, and timely data entry in a high-volume production environment.

This position requires a high school diploma and may include lifting up to 40lbs. The work schedule is Monday–Friday with evening shifts and rotating weekends.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• 1 year or more of experience in a medical or production environment.

Responsibilities

• Prepare laboratory specimens for analysis and testing.
• Unpack and route specimens to their respective staging areas.
• Accurately identify and label specimens.
• Pack and ship specimens to proper testing facilities.
• Meet department activity and production goals.
• Properly prepare and store excess specimen samples.
• Data entry of patient information in an accurate and timely manner.
• Resolve and document any problem specimens.

LabCorp is seeking a Specimen Accessioner/Processor to join our Specimen Processing and Accessioning team in Troy, MI.

Work Schedule

Monday-Friday 6:00pm - 2:30am. Rotating Weekends 12:00pm - 8:30pm.

Job Responsibilities

• Prepare laboratory specimens for analysis and testing
• Unpack and route specimens to their respective staging areas
• Accurately identify and label specimens
• Pack and ship specimens to proper testing facilities
• Meet department activity and production goals
• Properly prepare and store excess specimen samples
• Data entry of patient information in an accurate and timely manner

Minimum Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent

Preferred Qualifications

• 1 year or more of experience in a medical or production environment
