Job summary

Cordant Health Solutions is seeking a Field Operations Specimen Collections Technician in Canon City, CO. The role involves collecting urine, oral fluid, and hair samples for drug screens in support of client conditions under the criminal justice system or mental health treatment.

The position requires a HS diploma or GED and at least one year of customer-facing experience, with strong communication and detail orientation. Work is on site, with a daytime shift in a structured environment.

Qualifications

• HS diploma or GED, required.
• 1+ year of experience working directly with customers or patients required.
• Experience in healthcare, criminal justice, or a similar dynamic field preferred.
• Ability to observe collections and collect biological specimens, required.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills; attention to detail required.

Responsibilities

• Collect, log, order, process, and ship urine, oral, and/or hair specimens to the laboratory.
• Maintain organization of the collection site.
• File requisitions, chain of custody forms, and related paperwork.
• Collect and scan insurance information as applicable.
• Order supplies and maintain inventory at the location.
• Communicate client inquiries to Manager and Client Services team.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
