Job summary

Cordant Health Solutions seeks a Specimen Collections Technician to join our Field Operations team in Canon City, CO. You will collect urine, oral fluid (saliva) or hair specimens for drug screens as part of criminal legal system or mental health treatment programs, and this position will involve observation of MALE participants.

Qualifications

• HS diploma or GED, required.
• 1+ year of experience working directly with customers or patients, required.
• Experience in healthcare, criminal justice, or similar dynamic field preferred.
• Ability to perform observe collections and collect biological specimens, required.
• Ability to work professionally with no on-site supervision, required.
• Strong attention to detail with excellent verbal and written communication skills, required.
• Basic computer skills, required.

Responsibilities

• Collect, log, order, process, and ship urine, oral, and/or hair specimens to the laboratory.
• Maintain organization of the collection site and paperwork (chain of custody forms).
• File requisitions and related paperwork; manage supplies and inventory.
• Communicate client inquiries to Manager and/or Client Services team.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
