Job summary

Jobtailor in Colorado is seeking an experienced Sourcing Lead to drive strategic supplier engagements for healthcare services and diagnostics. You will own the sourcing lifecycle from requirements to post-award activities and lead complex negotiations with suppliers.

You will collaborate with legal, finance, and clinical operations to deliver value while applying AI skills to inform decisions and mitigate risk. 7+ years of experience and laboratory background preferred; travel will be required.

Qualifications

• 7+ years of relevant sourcing experience required.
• Laboratory experience preferred in clinical diagnostics or lab operations.
• Experience in healthcare or regulated industries is advantageous.
• Strong negotiation and supplier evaluation skills.
• Ability to leverage AI responsibly in business decisions.

Responsibilities

• Develop sourcing strategies aligned with client priorities and market opportunities.
• Lead the complete sourcing lifecycle, including requirements, assessments, RFIs/RFPs, supplier evaluations, negotiations, contracts, and post-award activities.
• Negotiate complex supplier agreements and commercial terms on behalf of clients.
• Evaluate supplier capabilities, financial stability, and market positioning to inform strategic recommendations.
• Partner with legal, contracting, finance, and operations to resolve sourcing issues.
• Lead cross-functional value analysis committees and align stakeholders for evidence-based decisions.
• Present strategies, financial analyses, supplier recommendations, and implementation plans to executives.
• Analyze spend, risk, and market data to identify opportunities and mitigate risk.
• Measure outcomes and communicate savings, value realization, and quality improvements.
• Apply advanced AI fluency to improve strategy, analysis, and stakeholder communications while ensuring responsible use.
