The role requires strong leadership, deep regulatory knowledge, and a proven track record in hospital laboratory management, with a Bachelor’s degree and TN licensure on hire. MBA and multi-lab oversight are preferred.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree and 5–7 years of leadership experience.
• Medical Technologist license (TN) on hire.
• MBA preferred with 7+ years of laboratory management experience.
• History of overseeing multiple laboratories.

Responsibilities

• Direct management of Market hospital Lab Directors/Managers and support from region director.
• Ensure compliance with policies, procedures, and regulatory standards.
• Oversee 24-hour operations and integration of testing across market facilities.
• Drive strategic planning, financial oversight, and operational excellence in the laboratory segment.
• Represent market interests on national laboratory committees and work groups.
• Stay current with new technologies and methods in laboratory science.
