The Medical Technologist Client Services Representative (CSR) provides accurate and timely technical results and information to requesting physicians and other healthcare professionals for use in the diagnosis and treatment of disease for patient care.
The Medical Technologist CSR consistently utilizes excellent customer service skills to both internal and external customers. A positive and professional interpersonal style with a strong commitment to teamwork is essential. The MT CSR acts as the technical liaison between the Department of Pathology and the VCUHS environment, observing compliance and HIPAA regulations at all times.
Requires in-depth knowledge of procedures, reporting, and evaluation of results, along with customer service-oriented communication. Participate in training and complete continuing education annually. Coverage for PTO, weather, and emergencies, including rotating weekends, holidays, and evenings, is required.
