Job summary

Energy Laboratories in Billings, MT is seeking a Login Technician to support sample receipt, login preparation, client support, shipping, and inventory management. Qualifications

Degree preferred in chemistry, biology, or related science.
HS diploma with relevant experience acceptable.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook).
Good Laboratory Practice (GLP) proficiency.

Responsibilities

Receive and process incoming shipments.
Assist walk-in clients with sample drop-off and bottle requests.
Triage received samples and manage Chain of Custody (COC).
Prepare samples for login by verifying I.D., date/time, containers, pH, preservation methods.
Document sample delivery groups with photographs.
Maintain and restock sample-related supplies.
Answer phones and assist clients with inquiries.
Prepare and ship sampling kits and bottle orders.
Coordinate inter-laboratory sample shipments.
Perform data entry tasks as assigned.
Maintain cleanliness and organization of the work area.
Assume other duties to support department operations.
