Job summary

Waypoint Analytical in Jackson, TN seeks a Sample Login Technician to verify and log samples into the lab's LMS, ensuring samples and chain-of-custody forms align with EPA preservation protocols and delivering excellent client service.

You will coordinate with project managers to assign analyses, assist clients delivering samples to the lab, communicate with remote clients, and uphold our safety culture. This position is full-time and subject to background checks per policy.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Understanding or prior experience in a laboratory role preferred.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate samples to ensure EPA protocol compliance.
• Oversee sample receipt, logging into the internal tracking system, labeling, and distribution.
• Coordinate with project managers to assign analyses to samples.
• Assist clients delivering samples to the lab.
• Communicate with remote clients regarding needs.
• Model safety as a core value and maintain a safe work environment.
• Other duties as required.
