• Knowledge of OSHA, EPA, RCRA, DOT regulations and standards.

Responsibilities

• Lead and manage the Laboratory Safety Program, including the Chemical Safety and Hazardous Waste programs.
• Provide safety training for employees conducting inspections and audits.
• Prepare reports and maintain accurate safety records.
• Develop safety policies and associated documentation.
• Support emergency preparedness and response activities.
• Ensure compliance with applicable federal, state, and local regulations.
