Qualifications

• Ability to design, test, troubleshoot, and iterate on electromechanical systems.
• Strong documentation habits and ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams.
• Experience mentoring junior engineers and communicating complex concepts.

Responsibilities

• Independently support design, assembly, testing, and iterative improvement of lab instruments and automation-enabled systems.
• Assist mechanical, electrical, and mechatronic design work including drawings, wiring, and sensor integration.
• Participate in system integration, testing, and data-driven improvement decisions.
• Create clear design notes, build records, test data, and operating guidance.
