The Henry M. Jackson Foundation for the Advancement of Military Medicine, Inc.

(HJF) seeks a Research Assistant I to support research and development in collaboration with others for projects at the Uniformed Services University in the Microbiology and Immunology laboratory. The role provides laboratory and technical support to senior staff, performs data entry, maintains data records, and ensures proper cleanliness and organization per Good Clinical and/or Good Laboratory practices.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required with 0–2 years of lab experience.
• Experience with data entry and maintaining accurate records per GLP/GCP or similar.
• Ability to obtain and maintain a T1 Public Trust background check.
• Strong communication and analytical skills are essential.

Responsibilities

• Perform research projects and data collection following SOPs.
• Enter data accurately and maintain data records and inventories.
• Maintain lab supplies and ensure cleanliness per GLP/GCP practices.
• Assist in preparing technical reports, summaries, and protocols; document observations.
• Attend training and perform related duties as directed by supervisor.
