Job summary

Labcorp in Overland Park, KS is seeking a Reference Test Clerk to join our team. You will prepare specimens, assist with testing workflows, and support laboratory operations to ensure timely results for clinicians and patients.

The role requires a high school diploma or GED, strong communication, and basic computer/data entry skills. Prior Labcorp experience is preferred, with a willingness to work overnight shifts and overtime as needed.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Comfortable handling biological specimens and maintaining accuracy.

Responsibilities

• Prepare laboratory specimens for analysis and testing.
• Research, troubleshoot and resolve customer and specimen problems.
• Send test requests to proper location and release test results.
• Assist clients with specimen related requests or inquiries.
• Process specimens to be sent to additional facilities.
• Provide support to various areas of the laboratory.
• Perform sample sorting, racking and retrieving.
• Prepare record logs in a timely and efficient manner.
• Maintain a clean and safe work environment.
