Job summary

Qualifications

Responsibilities

  • Assist with loading/unloading centrifuges and specimen handling.
  • Prepare specimens to expedite diagnosis per procedures.
  • Act as liaison during daily workflows between departments.
  • Check temperatures of equipment per procedures.
  • Print pending lists and locate specimens as needed.
  • Order and cancel tests in LIS; ensure patient ID accuracy.
  • Perform routine preventive maintenance and clean work area.
  • Participate in training of specimen preparations.
