Qualifications

High School Diploma or Equivalent (Required).
Ability to stand for long periods of time.
Strong attention to detail and accuracy.

Responsibilities

Picks up samples from accessioning and sorts samples into racks.
Answers phone and directs calls appropriately.
Unpacks and stores reagents and supplies.
Maintains work area in clean and organized condition.
Performs waived tests under supervision.
Loads blood bottles into Bactec machine.
Prepares samples for processing and DNA probes.
Follows PPE requirements and QA/QC duties as assigned.
