Job summary

WellSpan Health is seeking a Phlebotomist for the Outpatient Phlebotomy department. Full-time, day shift, 72 hours biweekly, with hours 6:30am-7:00pm and 5:45am-6:15pm, rotating weekends and holidays.

You will perform specimen procurement and processing in on- and off-site service areas, may work any part of a 24-hour period, and may be required to take on-call duties. Requires high school diploma, less than 1 year experience, and BLS preferred.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Phlebotomy program eligible; training upon hire preferred.
• Basic knowledge of medical terminology helpful.

Responsibilities

• Performs specimen procurement and processing in various service areas.
• Functions in on- and/or off-site locations with potentially rotating shifts.
• May work any part of a 24-hour period and may be required to accept on-call responsibilities.

Must possess a valid driver's license in the current state of residence. Driving record must meet requirements established by WellSpan Risk Management.

Courses and Training

• Medical terminology. Upon Hire Preferred and
• Phlebotomy Program eligible. Upon Hire Preferred
