Job summary

Description:This position may work in various gross room locations.Start time may vary between 0730 to 0900.Handling and cutting frozens will be part of the duties, with an estimated 5-10 per day.There may sometimes be a resident assigned to cover frozens.The average census is 160 cases per day and approximately 700 blocks per day.The case complexity varies, with about 60% small cases, 20% moderate biopsies, and 20% complex cases.Training will be provided by current Pathology Assistants.Client scrubs are provided.Weekend and holiday requirements are not applicable.There is no call or standby call requirement.
