Title: Laboratory Operations Technician I

Location: Santa Clara, CA

Duration: 5+ Months

100% Onsite

Responsibilities:

• Perform lab technician tasks, including working with modules, shutdown, and startup procedures.
• Use screwdrivers and tools, wear gloves, lab coat, and follow safety protocols.
• Assist with shutting down analyzers, installing brackets, and handling equipment.
• Unpack and reinstall equipment at different sites.
• Learn and execute complex instrument operations, including qualification and integration testing.
• Handle biohazardous liquids and blood specimen tubes.
• Pack and unpack lab supplies, maintain compliance with safety and regulatory standards.

Required Skills / Expertise:

• Physical ability to move equipment, crates, and boxes.
• Familiarity with engineering/scientific lab environments.
• Self-motivated with minimal supervision, good communication skills.
• Entry-level education: 2-year college in engineering or science preferred, or high school STEM background minimum.

Travel:

• Local travel between Santa Clara and Sunnyvale sites (~4.5 miles).
• Willing to follow lab safety, universal precautions, and bloodborne pathogen safety training.
