Job summary

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Medical Technology or a closely related field required.
• Other bachelor's degrees accepted if coursework meets certifying agency requirements; degree may be waived for certain certified technologists.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct supervision of daily laboratory operations.
• Oversee procedures and tests as ordered for diagnosis and treatment.
• Ensure maintenance of analyzers and quality control processes.
• Oversee specimen collection and maintain supplies per policy and procedure.
• Provide recommendations and action plans to improve system processes in the section/area.
