Job summary

Clinical Pathology Laboratories, Inc. is seeking a supervisor to oversee the phlebotomy team within Laboratory Operations at our Waco, TX location. The role emphasizes leadership, safety, and adherence to HIPAA and OSHA guidelines.

You will coordinate training, audits, and coverage across PSC and IOP sites, while ensuring accurate specimen collection and proper handling per laboratory procedures.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• 5+ years of phlebotomy experience.
• 2+ years of supervisory experience.
• A valid driver's license with an excellent driving record.
• Exceptional communication and problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities

• Manages use of company vehicles for accurate, timely pickup of specimens.
• Ensures safety standards and current service records.
• Coordinates new employee training across the department.
• Audits standing orders and submits audits to compliance committee.
• Maintains HIPAA, safety, infection control and OSHA guidelines compliance.
• Provides backup phlebotomy coverage at PSC and IOP locations.
