Job summary

Eurofins USA Food Testing seeks a Laboratory Supervisor to oversee scientific and operational staff in method development and validation projects. You will supervise analytical data review, data management, and report preparation while ensuring SOP and regulatory compliance.

Responsibilities include staffing, resource planning, equipment maintenance, and training programs. The role requires a BS/BA in science, 2+ years relevant experience, and 1+ year leadership, with residence near Madison, WI.

Qualifications

• BS/BA degree in Science or equivalent
• 2+ years related experience and 1+ years leadership experience
• Knowledge of appropriate regulatory agency guidelines
• Working knowledge of laboratory operations and software systems
• Strong organizational and communication skills
• Ability to learn new tasks and think critically
• Residence within commutable distance to Madison, WI lab

Responsibilities

• Supervise staff in method development/validation projects
• Oversee analytical data review, data management, and table generation
• Ensure compliance with SOPs and regulatory guidelines
• Schedule staff and allocate resources; identify needs
• Maintain safe, clean laboratory environment and mentor staff
• May act as front line contact for internal and external clients
