Responsibilities

• Supervise the technical operations of the laboratory and manage resources and personnel.
• Develop, review, and update departmental policies and procedures to meet accrediting/regulatory standards.
• Monitor workflows, recognize QC values, and respond to instrument/assay issues to maintain proficiency.
• Identify process improvements and apply root cause analysis and other tools to drive quality and safety.
• Handle financial and administrative duties including budgeting, scheduling, inventory, and staffing.
