Responsibilities

• Assumes responsibility for adequate staffing and adjusts schedules.
• Provides technical supervisory coverage of the laboratory for equipment or reagent problems.
• Oversees quality control, proficiency testing, and incident documentation.
• Coordinates technical and clerical functions of the Pathology Department.
• Implements the laboratory safety program and ensures training compliance.
