Job summary

Eurofins Viracor LLC in Lenexa, KS is seeking a Laboratory Specimen Processor to perform accessioning and data entry with precision in a busy clinical laboratory. Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent required.
• Specimen processing in a clinical laboratory setting or equivalent experience preferred.
• Comfort with raw specimen handling.
• Typing proficiency tested at 30 wpm minimum.
• Ability to read and follow SOPs and policies.
• Evening and weekend hours may be required.
• Strong time management and organizational skills.
• Excellent interpersonal skills to work across levels.
• Strong attention to detail and data confidentiality.
• 1 year of data entry experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Accession specimens and enter data in the LIMS.
• Examine samples for type, stability, and volume.
• Label samples for delivery to appropriate areas.
• Maintain sample storage materials.
• Resolve patient demographic issues or discrepancies.
• Prepare and process correction requests.
• Support quality control and quality assurance records.
• Ensure compliance with safety policies and regulatory requirements.
• Collaborate with lab associates to complete daily activities.
