Job summary

Catalyx is seeking an Analyst to plan and perform operational activities and acquisitions tied to the lab workspace. You will work with Safety, Business Ops, Facility Management, Finance, and IT to ensure flawless execution of all lab projects and processes.

Responsibilities include managing day-to-day lab provisioning and instrumentation, end-to-end lab projects, coordinating moves, and collaborating with IT for automation and systems upgrades.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a scientific, engineering, information systems or business field.
• PM and change management experience is highly preferred.
• Experience with laboratory operations or highly controlled facilities operations is preferred.
• Prior lab automation experience is a plus.
• Prior facility or laboratory renovation project management is a plus.
• Experience collaborating with IT and safety/compliance teams.

Responsibilities

• Oversee day-to-day provisioning, instrumentation, and facility maintenance for lab operations.
• Manage laboratory projects end-to-end, from idea to onboarding and installation of new instruments.
• Coordinate laboratory moves for facility projects.
• Ensure routine and unscheduled equipment maintenance is performed on time with external partners.
• Collaborate with IT to manage computer and automation systems, upgrades, and issue resolution.
• Work with scientific staff to maintain relationships for efficient operation and workflow improvements.
• Collaborate with project members following procedures, priorities, and timelines.
• Maintain general laboratory safety standards.

They work effectivelyin multi-disciplinary teams and collaborates with internal and externalpartners - such as Safety, Business Operations, Facility Management, Finance,IT - thus ensuring flawless execution of all projects and processes connected tothe lab workspace.

• Overseeing and managing theday-to-day activities involving provisioning, instrumentation, facilitymaintenance and upkeep to optimize laboratory operations.
• Managing laboratory projectsend to end, from idea through onboarding and installation of new instruments.
• Coordinating laboratory movesfor facility projects.
• Ensuring routine andunscheduled equipment maintenance is performed within acceptable timeframes,effectively collaborating with external partners/organizations.
• Collaborating with IT to manageand maintain computer and automation systems, including systems upgrades andissue resolution.
• Working closely with scientificstaff and leaders to ensure a steady and ongoing relationship with intent forefficient operation, improved automation, and workflow process improvements.
• Collaborating effectively withproject members following procedures, priorities and timelines.
• Maintaining general laboratorysafety standards.

Requirements

• A minimum of a bachelor's degree in a Scientific field, Engineering, Information Systems/Computer Science or Business is required.

Preferred:

• Project management and changemanagement experience is highly preferred.
• Working knowledge of laboratoryor highly controlled facilities operations, information systems,instrumentation, automation, safety, and compliance are highly preferred .
• Prior laboratory experience onthe bench or laboratory/operational management experience for sciencebackground candidates is preferred.
• Prior facility or laboratoryrenovation project management is a plus.
• Prior experience and understanding of laboratory automation is aplus.
